WORKSHOP | Mindfulness Meditation – Wednesday 11 March 13.30 – 16.30

In our daily life, there are moments when we want to clear up our mind and feel more relaxed. Mindfulness Meditation is a practice that can help in this direction. By practicing it, you learn to be aware of your current experience in an accepting way. Next to this, you learn to take some distance from for example things you worry about.
Mindfulness meditation stems from Buddhism and it is a skill, which you can learn through practice. In this workshop you will be introduced to and experience different types of mindfulness meditation so that you can find out which one fits you best.
Maddy Meijers is a health care psychologist, cognitive behavioral therapist and client centered therapist. She is specialized in emotion focused therapy for individual treatments. She works as a UM Psychologist since 2004.
