March 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Designing your Academic Journey (for Master’s students )
Curious what opportunities your study offers? Do you consider revising your study plan? Are you looking for extracurricular initiatives to spice up your study? This workshop will help you to find the answers!
Your study is not a journey set in stone. We invite you to create your own roadmap to graduation and to decide what route serves your interests best. Taking extra courses, doing an internship or fulfilling a board position are just a few of the activities you can include into your personalized study plan. This workshop serves both students with concrete ambitions and those that are still unsure about how to continue. Together we explore the opportunities and the decision making process. We strive for a personalized approach and our goal is that each one of you leaves the session with a concrete study plan!
Joey Mak works at SBE since 2010 as a Student & Career Counsellor. With a degree in Health Sciences and strong interest in the reasons behind our decision-making, he is committed to supporting students in identifying and shaping their own personal study plan.
Wim Bogaert is a Student & Career Counsellor with a degree in pedagogy and educational studies. His counselling focusses on definition and the development of personal goals in the study. This is done by identifying the unique talents students have and how these can be used in adding a personal curriculum in balance with the academic curriculum.
