Demystifying Creativity – Uncovering the key to unlock your outside the box thinking
Creativity is considered as one of the most important competences you can have as a professional nowadays (IBM, 2010). It helps you to find innovative solutions to complex problems, companies to come up with new differentiating products and services and the world to make it a better place. But what is creativity anyway? Can you train creativity? And if so, how do you become more creative?
During this workshop Damien Nunes, a service designer and innovator at our post-graduate school UMIO, will give you an overview on what creativity is and how you can use various tools and techniques to actually be creative. This means that everybody, including ‘non’-creative people, are more than welcome to join as being creative is a combination of the right conditions, competences and self-believe.
Damien Nunes is a project leader and service designer at the Service Science Factory (UMIO), which does different kind of consultancy projects for various companies in the public and private sector. He has transformed his original design background into a way of thinking and working which is highly valuable in the context of business and service innovation. Besides leading and participating in (innovation) projects, Damien also actively develops new tools, methods and principles that can be applied throughout the innovation process.
