Digital Detox Clinic
In this digital detox clinic, you will take a closer look at your use of information technology. Is IT working for you? We take a closer look at your use of the internet, social media and your smart phone, and how they influence your life for the better and worse. What would you love to keep and change? We invite you to reflect about how you connect to the outside: Are you in touch with the real world, or are you living in a filter bubble? What are the risks? We challenge you to a more mindful IT-use. How do you want to connect with the outside world? How can you stay close to your inner self and pay attention to what is important to you? Sharing tips and tricks, we will stimulate you to make a plan to take on practices that make IT work for you.

In his PhD research at the University of Leuven, he explored the role of supportive social factors in motivation for healthy behavior. After using these insights in the field as a consultant for preventive health and well-being interventions at work, he now works as a Career Counselor at UM Career Services. There he helps students of Maastricht University in discovering their professional desires and talents, growing their employability, and finding the challenges that inspire them. In everything, he loves thinking creatively & drawing up out-of-the-box solutions.
