Do you want to become a researcher in academia or the private sector?
The world of academia offers a wide range of opportunities, for example conducting research independently, working in international collaborations and educating the new generation of students. Are you interested in analysing big date to gain more insight into a company’s target audience or customers’ preferences, then a career in the private sector might be right for you. Whether in academia or in the world of practice both require a vast understanding of analytical and research skills. During this session, you will learn more about the trajectory you may follow if you want to discover the world of research and successfully complete a PhD programme. In addition to this, current PhD students will share with you their experiences. At the end of the session, there will be room for questions and discussion.
